EXPLORATIONS IN MATERIALITY AND INTERACTION
In this phase of the project, I focused on exploring how the products interact with vibrant color backgrounds through materials that feature refractive, translucent, and porcelain-like properties. The goal was to highlight the strength and refined finish of the objects while crafting compositions that feel bold and elegant.
Also introduced abstract elements—shapes and forms that playfully engage with the products—creating dynamic scenes with reflective surfaces and shiny textures that amplify the visual impact.
MODERN FORMS, BOLD COLORS
For each of Kohler’s star products, we developed a series of 3D pattern explorations designed to highlight depth, form, and materiality. By playing with layered geometry and varying depths, each object was reimagined with a fresh, modern twist. The use of bold color palettes tied to each product added a pop sensibility — bringing a vibrant, contemporary feel that resonates with today’s younger families and modern lifestyles.
Kohler
Creative Studio: UNTOLD
For this project, I worked under the creative direction of UNTOLD on the launch of a brand film showcasing Kohler’s signature products. The goal was to highlight the materiality and design language of each object through a series of visual explorations.
My role focused on look development, R&D, and 3D design — crafting visual studies that explored how light, texture, and color interact across Kohler’s diverse materials. We experimented with elements like glass and ceramic, using Kohler’s distinctive product palette to develop animated compositions featuring sinks, toilets, and other fixtures. These explorations incorporated patterns, layered textures, and object rotations to bring out the elegance and innovation behind each product.
