EXPLORING TUMI’S SIGNATURE HANDLE IN 3D
One of TUMI’s signature design features is its handle—engineered for durability and thoughtfully tailored to each luggage model. This element became the focus of a series of 3D visual explorations, highlighting its structural integrity and range of motion through precise angles and refined compositions.
For this project for TUMI, led by Psyop, I contributed to the design and development of 3D environments showcasing the brand’s iconic travel gear—from refined backpacks to durable wheeled luggage. Each scene highlighted TUMI’s craftsmanship through explorations of materiality: the rugged strength of hard shells, the softness of technical fabrics, and the precision of every seam and silhouette. I developed fabric simulations and compositions where dynamic textiles interacted with light and structure, creating narratives that emphasized functionality and elegance while immersing viewers in TUMI’s ethos of durability and timeless sophistication.
